Our CEO Dr. Tanya Smith is from a small beach town in North Carolina who grew up reading Nancy Drew as a child and Danielle Steele with her mother as a teenager. 

In 2019 life changed and she decided to step out and make her dreams a reality. That dream was to become an author.  After a lot of research on whether to become a self-published author or go the traditional route, she choose to go the self-publishing route.

She has published in her name six books and over thirty books under her pen name.

She is a long time entrepreneur and after seeing how hard it was to navigate in the self-publishing world, she decided to start her own publishing house with the heart to help other Indie Authors like herself make their dreams a reality. 

She built Warrioress Publishing to be a business that not only made authors dreams come true, but to give them knowledge of the business and a platform that gives them more royalties than most traditional publishing houses out there.

She prides herself on taking new authors through all the steps that they need to be successful. She helps build a social media platform by taking all of the marketing costs to boost exposure for her authors. She has a Social Media Manager that does all the posting and Press Releases from the authors being signed to the book being released and continual exposure. She also runs Facebook and Instagram ads when books are released.
